Ripping Paper Experiment

In this experiment I ripped out surfing images from magazines and placed them over the self portrait painting which I had used in my first experiment. I had the idea that this technique of ripping the paper away to reveal the portrait wuold be a good transition to open the piece with. I also used the cut out surfboards to move across the surfing images in order to further enhance the transition. I am really happy with how this experiment turned out and I like that my hand is visible when the paper is being ripped as it makes the experiment more personal. I did this tecnhique using Stop-Motion animation.
