Face Transition, Experimental Project...

For this experiment I photocopied the original self portrait painting and painted a blue page in my skecthbook. I then placed the self portrait over the blue background and animated the paper ripping to reveal the blue background in order for the transition into the maori turtle experiment, I animated this using Stop-Motion. Apart from the Stop-Motion stage being visible in this I really like the simplicity of the experiment. However I do think that the blue could be slightly paler, although it works fine with the bright colours used in the film so far.
