Finished coloured background for Mouse House...

The above images show a finished coloured background I painted using Adobe Photoshop for third year film Mouse House. When painting this I found the sky really quick and easy to paint and to blend the colours together to get the desired look the director wanted. However, when painting the tree I was unsure about the highlights and where to put them so I had to ask the background designer to help me with this as well as regularly checking with the director to get their opinion.

I am happy with the outcome of this background and think that all of the colours blend well together, however I think that the texture on the leaves could be toned down more and the colours could be blended more.
