Coloured Background for Mouse House...

The above image shows a completed background I coloured for third year film Mouse House. This took me a while to colour due to trying to get the blend of colours on the bird nest to look right. In particular for the center of the nest due to finding it hard to get he contrast and the colours to blend smoothly without loosing the highlights or the emphasis on the shape of the nest. As well as this, I had trouble when colouring the tree bark as I kept over blending the colours. 

However, I think the final outcome of the background works well and all of the colours blend nicely together. Although I still think I should have exaggerated the center of the nest further.
