Sketches and Turtle Studies for A Plastic Ocean...

The above images show sketches and watercolour studies of various turtles for Clodagh's pre production project, A Plastic Ocean. Although the first image is from a previous project of mine, in which I studied sea turtles. But I thought these sketches may be good references for the turtles shell. 

The other sketches are quick turtle studies and then the third image shows some rough sketches of single use trash such as plastic bags and bottle caps. As well as this the page also shows a sketch of a turtle eating a plastic bag, which could develop into a piece of concept art for the film pitch.
