Robot Designs...

The above images show my robot rough designs and sketches. When thinking of the brief for the robot to be goof with kids I decided to design a Dr or Nurse robot, a Medbot. Character design isn't my strong point in terms of pre production, but I found this brief/ project really useful practice. My favourite out of these designs is the last robot. I think that all of the colours work well with the character and that the rust looks effective. I kept the shapes geometric and simple as to not over complicate design, especially as it will be animated using motion capture.
